ABOUT SBAB

THE CARING BANK

SBAB is the caring bank that contributes to positive societal development, offering loans, savings, and other services to customers across Sweden.

SBAB is a purpose- and values-driven company with a culture defined by ambition and strong execution in every initiative they undertake. At the same time, they always strive to be fair—both to each other and to their customers.

Since its founding in 1985, SBAB has grown to become one of Sweden’s leading players in mortgages and housing finance. They were the first to offer a digital loan application in 1998 and continue to stay ahead of the curve through their ownership of Booli and Hittamäklare. SBAB’s vision is to realize the future of housing and communities, while their mission is to be the caring bank with the best offerings in housing and household finance.

“Working here means you’re part of a team of generous professionals. We’re small enough for you to make a difference but large enough to impact an entire industry. We are bold! We are on a continuous growth journey—getting the job done, challenging the norm, and innovating. Together, we are the caring bank that contributes to positive societal development.”
