Saab Aeronautics and Nexer Tech Talent will start up the Saab Aeronautics Tech Program for the second time in Aug/Sep 2023. TO WORK AS A DEVELOPER AT SAAB AERONAUTICS
You will be part of the Aircraft Simulation team responsible for the software platform that simulates a complete Gripen fighter aircraft. As a developer at Saab Aeronautics, you will get to work with an incredibly complex product that is at times very challenging, but also provides great satisfaction when you solve problems together. The day as a developer is very varied from discussions about solutions, to focused coding, to testing the code yourself in one of the simulators, to documentation.
The Aeronautics business is an innovative provider of world-class aircraft systems and offers a wide range of support solutions in civil and military aviation. The business area conducts research, development and production of military aircraft systems. The team works according to scrum-ish principles and the agile manifesto is a guiding principle of their mindset. Continuous learning and innovation is important, which is why the team has a Learning & Innovation Day every third Friday. During this day, you and your colleagues will have the opportunity to learn from your peers, you will have time to test new things or solve that annoying problem that you never get time for otherwise.

The program has 12 positions available and you can apply for the following roles:
– Software Developer
– IT Security System Engineer
– System Administrator
– Testing Engineer
THE BRIDGE BETWEEN STUDIES AND CAREER
As a participant in the talent program, you will be part of a team where you will contribute your skills on a daily basis to achieve the team’s objectives. You will also have access to a tailor-made training program where you will spend a few days a month deepening your technical skills, combined with training in areas such as leadership and personal development. Upon completion of the program, the ambition is for you to move into direct employment with the client.
