In August 2023, Nexer Tech Talent and Folksam will launch Folksam Tech Talent for the sixth time – an almost year-long talent program aimed at recent tech graduates.

Folksam Tech Talent is a program for tech talents at the beginning of their career who want to contribute with new insights and ideas to Folksam’s transformation journey towards a modern financial company. Here, some 3,900 employees work to offer insurance and pension savings that create security at all stages of life. Almost one in two Swedes is insured with them, making them one of Sweden’s largest asset managers.
At Folksam, you will have a career in a responsible company with many exciting professional roles and good opportunities to grow through several different career paths. You will be stationed at Folksam’s head office in Skanstull. The talent program starts with an eight-week project work where you as a program participant work as a team to create a brand new product for Folksam. During the program you will then receive the support and training needed to kick-start your career in the best possible way. The program ends with a joint hackathon and the ambition is that you will then transition as an employee of Folksam.
The program has 11 positions in systems development.
As a participant in the talent program, you will be part of a team where you will contribute your skills on a daily basis to achieve the team’s objectives. You will also have access to a tailor-made training program where you will spend a few days a month deepening your technical skills, combined with training in areas such as leadership and personal development. Upon completion of the program, the ambition is for you to move into direct employment with the client.
