Gothenburg University wanted modern, easy-to-use and effective websites, more focused on visitor expectations. Not the large and complex sites, of varying quality, they had ended up with. Turning to Nexer Maverick, GU sought to meet the needs of a changing society and the increasing expectations from their users.
Nexer Maverick started by performing a prestudy, examining the existing web environment from different angles; target group, functionality, organization, technical platform, communication channels and searchabitlity.
For each part we listed problem areas and opportunities. We wanted to define the areas where we could develop and evolve the web for Gothenburg University, setting the scope, cost and time plan for all parts. When this was done, Nexer Maverick was trusted to lead the web development project.
During four years, Maverick managed the project, handling the effect mapping, user experience, information architecture, visual design, prototyping, user tests, frontend development and quality assurance of the new web concept.
Nexer Maverick solved all the challenges beautifully. Very positive effects have been proven and we can already see that GU will meet the target goals that they set up for this project.
