NEXER’S CMO BEATRICE SILOW RECEIVES MICROSOFT POWER WOMEN IN TECH AWARD

Beatrice Silow, Director Marketing and Communications, Nexer Group

The Microsoft Power Women in Tech Award is a new initiative created through a collaboration between Microsoft Western Europe and INSEAD Business School. The award aims to bring the spotlight to female tech leaders who have forged extraordinary careers and actively contribute to the advancement of women and girls in STEM fields.

“At a time when every business is becoming a tech business, this affects all sectors. So, for our inaugural Microsoft Power Women in Tech Award, we were searching for women leaders at our partner organisations who can inspire other women to go further in tech”, says Therese Treutiger, Director Global Partner Solutions & Innovation at Microsoft.

Each of the 11 Microsoft Western Europe subsidiaries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden) got to appoint one winner for the Microsoft Power Women in Tech Award. All winners were announced on the 23rd of June, International Women in Engineering Day, and Nexer’s CMO Beatrice Silow was selected as the winner of Sweden.

“It’s an incredible honour, and I’m glad and thankful to be recognised among all talented and amazing women. It’s a confirmation that my efforts have positively impacted the tech industry, and it fuels my drive to keep pushing boundaries”, says Beatrice Silow.

To be considered for the Microsoft Power Women in Tech Award, nominees must work for a Microsoft partner, have a minimum of 15 years of experience and a tech leadership position. To win, they should also stand out at a national level in terms of performance, impact and work promoting diversity. Social media presence as an influencer or opinion-maker was also valued, as the nominees were assessed by a panel of Microsoft and IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners) leaders.

All winners will be highlighted by Microsoft leadership across different media channels and invited to participate in a Women Leaders Executive Program led by INSEAD Business School.
