Nexer R&D invests in Connected Solutions

Lindholmen, the heart of mobility and connected solutions.

To meet the market’s need for mobility and connected services, Nexer has over time invested in Connected Solutions. We already have many talented employees at the cutting edge of technology who are experts in developing digital services that create value from connected products. Our customers have many exciting projects that demand our help, so the need for more employees is big, and the area is under strong growth.

Nexer is headquartered at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, which is the heart of Sweden’s Automotive development. Recently, Nexer R&D has been entrusted to deliver at least five cross-functional development teams to CEVT, where we will develop the mobility services of the future.

Since the demand for expertise in the field is very high, we look for expertise both locally and globally and invest in attracting the most competent to the region. We also work with deliveries from our near and offshore sites, where we gather world-leading competencies in high-performance teams.

“We see our collaboration with CEVT as strategic where we have the opportunity to contribute with expertise in several areas, and we look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration”, says Nélio Lopes Ramos, Delivery Manager Nexer R&D. He continues, “This collaboration has given us the chance to attract the best and it´s clear that the region has a strong attraction.”

The work in the R&D teams has already begun, and the assessment is that the teams have got the best possible start to develop exciting new connected services in the cars of the future.

“It is extremely exciting with our investment in Connected Solutions, and the confidence that CEVT gives us really shows that it is the right decision to put all the effort we do into developing the area”, says Ulf Ödesjö, Business Area Manager Nexer R&D.
