Uddevalla Municipality, known for its digital services, faced challenges with fragmented data and hard-to-search documents—making it harder for businesses to access key information. To tackle this, they partnered with Nexer to modernise their data systems.
CHALLENGE
Disconnected data sources and analogue records made it difficult to generate insights or support local businesses navigating permits and regulations.
SOLUTION
Uddevalla implemented a Modern Data Platform using Microsoft and Databricks to unify data and ensure compliance. They digitised key documents, built a “my pages” portal for easier access, and introduced a chatbot powered by Azure OpenAI to support users in real time.
