Background
This top Nordic, automotive retailer wanted to explore using AI within their existing Product Information Management (PIM) solution (within their MDM system Stibo Systems STEP), to handle the translation of technical automotive terms. They faced issues with data quality, such as missing or inaccurate information, often due to time constraints or limited linguistic resources. Translating from English to Swedish also presented challenges as certain terms needed to remain untranslated or could shift meaning in a Swedish context.
