ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING
SYNC YOUR RESOURCES
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a systemized collection of functions, capabilities, and processes companies use to manage and integrate the critical parts of their businesses. ERP software applications are essential to companies – they enable resource planning by combining all the processes needed to run their business within a single business system.
An ERP software system can also integrate planning, purchasing, inventory, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and other vital functions. From the early days of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, ERP business systems have evolved over many years to become an integrated suite of functions and capabilities to manage the entire end-to-end business footprint of any small, medium, or large enterprise.
Modern ERP solutions have evolved to encompass a variety of new technologies, including cloud-based platforms and web-based applications that users can access from any location and device. Some key benefits of ERP include the free flow of data, information, and business processes between various business areas, providing a single source of information shared by all functions. In addition, modern ERP enables accurate, real-time data insights and reporting.

MOVING TO DYNAMICS 365 MADE EXPANSION POSSIBLE
Outback Steakhouse, a US restaurant chain with more than 1,499 units worldwide, wanted to expand its operations in Brazil. So, they changed from Dynamics 2009 AX to Dynamics 365 – and integrated it with other Microsoft platform solutions. This move ramped up their data processing performance and enabled impressive growth. Since moving to Dynamics 365, they have opened many new restaurants in Brazil since 2020.
