This initiative marks a new chapter in the co-operative’s digital transformation, focusing on integrating and automating its complex and diverse operations.

    Founded in 1912 in Rio Grande do Sul, Cooperativa Santa Clara is the oldest dairy co-operative still in operation in Brazil. Its operations go far beyond dairy production, covering supermarkets, meat processing plants, dairies, distribution centres, and the sale of agricultural products. This complexity required a robust, flexible, and scalable solution to ensure efficiency, control, and agility.

    About Cooperativa Santa Clara

    Founded in 1912 in Rio Grande do Sul, Cooperativa Santa Clara is renowned for its tradition and quality in dairy production. With over 5,000 members, the co-operative is present in more than 135 municipalities across the state, operating in various segments including dairy, meat processing, animal feed production, industrial kitchen, pharmacy, and retail units.

    Upgrading to Dynamics 365 F&SCM

    Following a detailed market assessment, the co-operative chose to modernise its ERP by migrating from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 F&SCM. The decision was driven by advanced features such as applied artificial intelligence, improved integration across departments, and the robustness of a cloud-based platform.

    Nexer, a Microsoft partner and the original implementer of Dynamics AX at Santa Clara, is also leading this upgrade, which will be carried out in phases over an 18-month period.
