Dream Big is a competition for digital entrepreneurs and tech innovators who are ready to take a business dream to the next level. It’s a global competition with gender equality at its heart. The competition is open to pioneering, entrepreneurial-driven people who want to realise their business ideas. It can be a service or consultancy business but also an innovative product.
Anyone can compete, either as a team or as an individual. The business idea is not yet commercialised in any way. The winner or winners of Dream Big can be located anywhere in the world and should be interested in running a start-up company.
Nexer is interested to invest up to 1 million SEK in the winning start-up. The prize is tailored to meet the winners’ needs of funding, equity investments, business support, technical know-how, marketing or sales support, mentorship or networking. Nexer is an active partner and can contribute with expertise within strategy, technology, sales and marketing, which are Nexer’s cornerstones.
In Dream Big Nexer Innovation Race 2022, you are competing to realise your awesome business idea by allocating financial and business support. We know that all business ideas have different needs. The capital provides the opportunity to invest in what’s required to achieve the goal and realise your dream.

Sometimes a leap into the unknown can be scary. We want you to succeed, and we can help reduce the risks. As a large company, we can provide safety so you can focus on the idea. This may include an employment contract or an inspiring workplace.

Women entrepreneurs generally find it harder to get start-up capital and the opportunity to realise their business ideas; due to prejudices that women would be less capable than men when it comes to business growth and taking risks. This is obviously not true: women and men are equally qualified at running companies. If anyone has doubts, this is supported by several research reports. The Luleå University of Technology has compared over 20 economic indicators in companies with female and male leadership – their research shows no difference.
