About AquaGenetics
AquaGenetics of Brazil, formerly known as Aquabel Piscicultura, was founded in 1994 and became the largest Brazilian producer of tilapia fingerlings and juveniles. In 2016, it became part of the EW Group, a German conglomerate specializing in animal protein genetic improvement. This change marked the beginning of a new chapter for the company, requiring greater professionalization, governance, and control over administrative and production processes.
