    After becoming part of an international conglomerate, AquaGenetics faced the challenge of modernizing its management structure to sustain growth.     AquaGenetics of Brazil, formerly known as Aquabel Piscicultura, was founded in 1994 and became the largest Brazilian producer of tilapia fingerlings and juveniles. In 2016, it became part of the EW Group, a German conglomerate specializing in animal protein genetic improvement. This change marked the beginning of a new chapter for the company, requiring greater professionalization, governance, and control over administrative and production processes.

    Integrating Data and Decisions in a Global Expansion Scenario

    With its entry into the EW Group, AquaGenetics needed to align its processes with international standards. The main challenge was to find an ERP that, in addition to being robust, enabled data-driven decision-making and offered the flexibility to handle the particularities of its sector—especially considering the nature of its final product, a living being. The lack of process integration, difficulty in calculating costs in real time, and lengthy accounting closing times hindered management efficiency.

    Fast and Customized Implementation of Dynamics 365

    Nexer, a Microsoft partner, recommended adopting Microsoft Dynamics 365 — a platform already known for its integration capabilities, simplified operation, and high scalability. The implementation was fast—only two months—and included customizations tailored to the company’s specific business context. The new structure also integrated with other tools in the Microsoft ecosystem, such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Office 365, enabling automation, advanced analytics, and corporate data integration.
