Nexer leads business applications transformation at Islands Energy Group Limited (IEG)

Nexer Enterprise Applications Limited and Islands Energy Group Limited (IEG) have entered into a long-term partnership to support IEG in their transformation and modernisation of business applications.

After an RFP and then further selection shortlisting, Nexer (one of Microsoft’s leading global systems integrators) has been awarded the contract and will be leading the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for the business areas of meter billing management, financials, supplier & procurement management and stock management. Replacing legacy Oracle solutions, Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be implemented to platform the business for the future, reduce the overall cost of ownership and deliver operational efficiencies by adopting world-leading cloud technology combined industry-leading solutions.

IEG is the Gas Utility company for the Isle of Man (Manx Gas www.manxgas.com) and both Channel Islands, Jersey (Jersey Gas www.jsygas.com) and Guernsey (Guernsey Gas www.gsygas.com). The company Head Office is in the Isle of Man, with the Group Company Headquarters and financial operations running out of Guernsey. The company provides mains gas (with associated gas storage and distribution infrastructure) and bottled gas on a regulated and non-regulated basis. Across the three islands, IEG provide boiler installation, maintenance and support and has a retail presence in Guernsey.
