This was an online event on Wednesday, April 21 at 8:30 – 12:00 GMT (9:30 – 13:00 Swedish time)
What steps can you take to become a more sustainable retailer? At this event, Anna-Maria Petisme, PhD student and Caroline Thorén from Nexer Maverick talked about how you can use technology and intelligence to support your ambitions to be sustainable, and to protect and increase your margins. Greg Contell from Nexer Enterprise Applications highlighted that it’s about more than digital transformation, it’s about innovating Demand and Supply Chain management.
Sofie Hedman from Nexer Unified Commerce showed how you can use Computer Vision to lower shipping costs as well as reducing the impact on the environment. Liz Leigh Bowler and Nick Bradley talked about how Microsoft, as an online retailer itself, has overcome the challenge of fraud using Artificial Intelligence, and how this can help other retailers. Finally, Tony Bryant, Global Business Development Director at K3 Business Technologies Group shared how consumer behaviour is changing the way we use technology throughout the fashion supply chain – from concept to consumer.
